The story behind the tees

The Alaska Cruise Tees Brand Story

The Alaska Cruise Tees brand started with one bad cruise wardrobe and a stubborn belief that cruise shirts should be worth packing home — so we built one.

Our Story

We were three days into an Inside Passage sailing — somewhere between Ketchikan and Juneau — when the shirt question came up. Everyone on the ship was wearing the same anchor-and-ship souvenir tee, and somehow, after three glaciers, a pod of orcas, and a whale breach that made an entire lido deck gasp, none of them looked like the trip we were actually on.

That bugged us enough to do something about it. Alaska Cruise Tees is built around one idea: Alaska deserves a better shirt. We draw every design ourselves, we pull from the real ports — totems in Ketchikan, dog mushing in Skagway, the sockeye run, the bald eagles circling Sitka Sound — and we print them on blanks that outlive the trip. When you get home, you should have something in the suitcase worth unpacking.

What Makes Us Different

Original Designs

Every design is drawn in-house by people who've sailed the Inside Passage. No port-of-call clip art. No copy-pasted anchors. If you see our shirt on someone at the Seward terminal, you'll know where it came from.

Built For The Trip

Heavyweight ring-spun cotton. Professional DTG printing. Shirts that hold up to rain gear, floatplane day trips, kids on the lido deck — and the washing machine, a year later, when you're already planning the next cruise.

Made When You Order

Everything prints when you buy it, so nothing sits in a warehouse going stale. That's why we keep adding new Alaska designs all season long instead of being stuck with last year's lineup.

Cruisers First

We ship fast — usually to your door before your sailing date, if you order with time — we answer our own emails, and we replace anything that shows up wrong. No tickets. No bots. No 48-hour "we're checking on that."

Our Mission

To make the shirt you actually remember the cruise by. Not the generic one on the pier in Skagway. Not the $42 tee the ship shop sold you on formal night. The one you pull out of the closet five years from now, notice the soft-broken-in fabric, and smile at.
